BioNTech shares rose 1.70% to $98.37 on Monday following positive trial news. Gotistobart achieved a median overall survival of 18.5 months vs 10.0 months for docetaxel. The hazard ratio was 0.56 with a nominal p-value of 0.0295 in the PRESERVE-003 trial. Severe adverse events were lower in the gotistobart cohort (44.4%) than in chemotherapy (48.8%).

BioNTech terminates Phase 2 trial BNT122-01 for autogene cevumeran in colorectal cancer. DSMB cited numerical overall survival imbalance between treatment arms. Shares fell 6.94% to $103.68 following the announcement. Pancreatic cancer trial IMcode003 remains unaffected and continues as planned. Trial had previously tripped futility threshold in October 2025 but continued until recent review.
