Energy Vault received State Significant Development Approval for its 125 MW / 1 GWh Stoney Creek Battery Energy Storage System in New South Wales. Construction and site mobilization are expected to begin in Q4 2026, with commercial operations targeted for H1 2028. The project is supported by a 14-year Long-Term Energy Service Agreement awarded through AEMO Services. Annual recurring revenue is projected at $25 million to $30 million once the system is operational.

2G Energy AG secured a 275 MW order from Energy Vault Holdings Inc. (NYSE: NRGV) for US-based AI and data center power solutions. The systems will be manufactured at 2G’s Heek facility in Germany and delivered between Q4 2027 and Q3 2028. The order includes long-term service support to ensure lifecycle reliability for mission-critical data center operations. 2G is expanding production capacity with a new hall operational this year and a second site due by end of 2027 to meet demand.

Initial phase includes a ~30 MW Edge AI data center integrated with renewable energy and storage. Master plan targets expansion to 100 MW total site power capacity by 2030. Construction targeted to begin by 2028, subject to final approvals and single authorization.
