ICE interest rate futures OI hit a record 14.5 million contracts on September 2, 2026, up 25% YoY. €STR futures OI surged 109% YoY to 3.3 million contracts, outpacing Euribor's 16% growth to 5.8 million. U.K. SONIA futures OI rose 68% YoY, while Gilts futures OI increased 4% YoY. Total financial futures OI reached a record 16.9 million contracts, up 21% YoY.

National mortgage delinquency rate fell 16 bps to 3.39% in July 2026. Serious delinquencies declined for a fifth straight month to 563,000 loans. Foreclosure starts rose 23% YoY to 38,600, with active inventory up 43%. Cure activity from serious delinquency hit a nine-month high of 64,100. Prepayment speeds slowed for a fourth consecutive month to 0.74% SMM.
