The time it takes for your redemption amount to be credited to your bank account depends on the type of fund you have redeemed from. The standard timelines are:

1. Liquid funds: 1-2 working days

2. Debt funds: 2-3 working days

3. Equity funds: 3-4 working days

4. International funds: 5-7 working days

These timelines can sometimes be longer if the Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs), who handle the records, need to verify your bank account details. If this verification fails or if the bank account is closed, the AMC will send a physical cheque to your registered address, which can take several additional days.

You can check the Order status for your specific redemption order by navigating to the Orders tab and selecting the relevant order. You will be able to see all details including expected timelines.

As per the new regulatory guidelines, the money from your Mutual Fund redemption will be transferred only to the bank account linked to your investment folio.

The AMC (fund house) sends the amount directly to this account. To avoid any issues, please ensure your registered bank account is active and valid. You can check which bank account your redemption will be credited to by going to the Orders tab, selecting View Details, and clicking on the order. All the relevant details will be shown there.
