As per a SEBI circular dated October 4, 2021, all Mutual Fund investments must be paid directly from your linked bank account. This rule was introduced to ensure secure and transparent transactions. Because of this, you cannot use your millions balance to pay for Mutual Fund orders. All payments must come directly from your registered bank account.

There are a few common reasons why your SIP installment may not have gone through:
1. 30-Day Minimum Gap: After your first SIP payment, there must be at least 30 days before the next one.
Example: If you start a SIP on Oct 15 and set the date as the 10th, the Nov 10 payment will be skipped. Your SIP will start again on Dec 10 and continue normally.
2. Auto-Pay Not Activated: You need to set up Auto-Pay for your SIPs to be paid automatically. Without Auto-Pay, you’ll have to pay manually every month.
To set up Auto-Pay: Go to the SIP details page in the app and follow the steps to activate it.
3. Insufficient Funds: Ensure your linked bank account has enough money on the SIP due date. Otherwise, the payment may fail, and your bank may also charge bounce fees.

You can manually pay for your SIP instalments during the designated payment window. The timing for this is as follows:
1.For monthly SIP: You can pay starting one day before the due date (T-1) and up until the due date (T).
2.For weekly SIP: You can pay on the due date (T). To manually pay, go to the Mutual Funds section of the app. You will see an option to pay for your SIPs when the payment window is open. For a hassle-free experience, it is highly recommended that you set up Autopay for your SIPs, which ensures timely investments without manual intervention.

You may not be able to delete or modify a SIP for these common reasons:
1.Upcoming installment: If your next SIP payment is scheduled within the next 3 days, changes are not allowed.
You can only modify or delete your SIP up to 3 days before the due date.
2.Units not yet allotted: If the latest SIP installment is still being processed and units haven’t been credited to your account yet, you’ll need to wait until the allotment is complete.

Once you place an order whether it’s Lumpsum or SIP, it cannot be cancelled right away. The order goes to the fund house for processing, and it usually takes 2-3 business days for the units to be allotted to your account.
If you want to stop all future SIP investments, you can cancel the SIP after the first installment units are allotted. This will ensure no further payments are processed.

There is a mandatory 30-day gap between the first payment of a new SIP and the next installment.
If your first payment date and the next SIP date are less than 30 days apart, the next month’s SIP will be skipped. After that, your SIP will continue as per schedule.
Example: If you start a SIP on October 15th and choose the monthly date as 10th, then the November 10th SIP will be skipped, and the next one will happen on December 10th.

Your investment will not be immediately visible in your portfolio after you make a payment. The units for your Mutual Fund SIP order must first be officially allotted by the Asset Management Company (AMC).
This allotment process depends on factors such as the cut-off time and when the AMC receives the funds. It typically takes 2-3 business days. Once the allotment is complete, your investment will be reflected in your portfolio.
You can check the status of your SIP order at any time in the Orders tab.
