  • You can easily change your primary bank account using the millions app. Here's how: On the millions App: Flow Note: You can use both primary and secondary banks to add or withdraw funds. However, as per regulations, settlements (monthly/quarterly), dividends, and other credits will only be processed to your primary bank account linked to your Demat account. This modification is chargeable at ₹25 + GST, which will be debited from your ledger.

  • Once you initiate the primary bank change process, here’s everything you need to keep in mind: When will the update reflect? The primary bank update will reflect within 1 working day on the millions app, web, and your CMR (Client Master Report). Example: If you complete the request on Monday, 7th April, the new primary bank will be active and visible by Wednesday, 9th April. Are there any charges? Yes, a fee of ₹25 + GST is charged for changing your primary bank. This amount is debited from your ledger when you begin the eSign process. Important Note: Until the update is fully completed, all transactions like fund transfers, dividends, or settlement credits will continue through your existing primary bank. Example: If your current primary bank is ICICI and you're switching to SBI, and both a settlement and your bank change request are processed on 15th April 2025, the funds will still be credited to ICICI. This is because the new primary bank (SBI) will only become active on the next working day.

  • This message appears when a previous primary bank change request has been started but not yet completed. If you initiated the process but didn’t complete the eSign step, your request remains incomplete. Until the eSign is done, you won’t be able to start a new request to change your primary bank. Let’s break this down with an example: You have: SBI as your current primary bank Axis Bank and PNB Bank as your secondary banks On Monday, 7th April, you initiated a primary bank change request to switch to Axis Bank, but you didn’t complete the eSign verification. Now, on Tuesday, 8th April, if you try to set PNB Bank as your new primary bank, the system will show an "Already in progress" error. This is because your earlier request for Axis Bank is still pending. You’ll need to complete the eSign for Axis Bank first. Once that change is updated successfully, you can start a new request to switch to any other bank. Note: To avoid this, make sure to complete the eSign process in one go after initiating a primary bank change request.

  • Your bank addition request may be rejected for several reasons, most commonly due to a mismatch between the account holder’s name and the PAN name registered with millions. Let’s understand this better with a few examples: Example 1: Incomplete or blank name fetched via Penny Drop If the name fetched during bank verification is blank or incomplete, the system will not be able to verify your bank details. What you can do: Use the option to manually enter the IFSC code. If we still cannot verify the account, you’ll be prompted to upload a bank proof (Cancelled cheque, Latest bank statement, or front page of passbook), or try adding a different bank account. Example 2: Trying to add a corporate bank account If you’re adding a corporate account (with a company name), it must match the PAN name linked with your millions account. What you can do: If the account is in your personal name as per PAN, upload a bank proof (Cancelled cheque/Bank statement/Passbook) via chat or email at help@millionshq.com for manual verification. Example 3: Joint bank account If your name is the secondary holder in a joint account, we need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the primary holder. What you can do: Contact us via chat or email at help@millionshq.com to get the NOC form. Fill it out and send it back to us for verification. Once approved, we’ll inform you via email/chat so you can reinitiate the bank addition request. Example 4: Adding someone else’s bank account If the bank account belongs to someone else (e.g., you're Mr. ABC trying to add Miss XYZ’s bank account), the request will be rejected. What you can do: Please reinitiate the request using your own bank account details, which should match the PAN registered on millions.
